Philippe Rochard got into dance music back in 1994 when he started to spin at local school parties. He released his first 12” called «System of Love» under the guide of Akropolis two years later – co-producer of this track was no other than Germanys star producer Marc Van Linden (better known as R.E.D. S.E.C.T.O.R.). The track turned into a club hit in Switzerland and Germany and got licensed to a number of compilations accross europe – DJ-Bookings in Germany, Holland and Austria followed. In 2002 Philippe Rochard has done a handful of remixes for the far easts biggest dance music promotor and record label Avex (also home to the likes of Ferry Corsten, Tiësto and Yoji Biomehanika among others) and scored a massive club hit in Japan with «Back Again» as Da Brainblasters in 2004... Philippe's own Sectorbeatz label is one of the leading labels for the harder generation of dance music with releases such as «The Survivors of Hardstyle», «Computerliebe X.2» and «Bounce Da Beat» while «Breathing», a cooperation between Philippe Rochard and DJ Eruption, got recently picked up by dutch DJs Luna and Pila  for a release on heir StraightOn label. Philippe has opened the gates to the international Hardstyle-scene and has DJs like Max B Grant standing in his footsteps ready to take the world by storm!"

Philippe Rochard is Switzerland’s new Hardstyle-Superstar and «ShockWave» was his debut album after nearly 10 years of DJing and producing! Disc one is packed with all his productions, while disc two contains a DJ-Mix of all the remixes of his track.

Now almost one year later, he founded beside his hard style label (Sector Beatz) the labels Sphere Traxx (trance) and Stamped Beatz (hardcore). With appearances in Holland, Germany, Italy, France and England he abroad also a name as a DJ.
